Scientist Planning to Open Portal to Parallel World, How to Do it?

Could 2019 be the year that humanity will succeed in opening a portal to another dimension that reflects our own world?

Scientists at the Ridge National Laboratory hope so. They have completed construction of the building and equipped the equipment that will be used for experiments in the parallel world - another universe that is said to be similar to the life we live in today.

The project was presented by Leah Broussard, the physicist involved, in an interview with NBC last week. He said he was trying to uncover a "strange hidden shadow world" with his team.

The discovery of this hidden world might sound like science fiction from the television series Strangers Things. However, the idea has been repeatedly put forward by physicists to explain things that are not normal. Unfortunately, no solid evidence has yet emerged.

The idea of a parallel world emerged in the 1990s when physicists were measuring the time it takes for a neutron particle to break down into protons once removed from the nucleus.

Two separate experiments showed the neutrons decomposed at different rates - not decomposing and becoming protons at the same rate.

In the first, free neutrons are captured by a magnetic field and "herded" into a laboratory bottle trap. Others were detected by the subsequent appearance of proton particles from the nuclear reactor stream.

The results showed that the particles fired from the nuclear reactor stream lasted about 14 minutes and 48 seconds. This figure is nine seconds longer than that coming from the bottle trap.

It may seem like a small difference, but it confuses the crowd

The experiment is thought to provide information about the existence of parallel worlds: that there are two separate lifespans of neutrons. It could be that 1% of the neutrons crossed the gap between our reality and the parallel world before crossing back and then emitting the detected protons.

In the present day, the latest experiments will shoot a neutron beam into an impenetrable wall. On the other side of the wall, a neutron detector would be installed - it would normally not detect anything.

However, if the detectors later record the presence of neutrons, then the theory is that they might make it through the wall by "oscillating" into a parallel world and then reappearing into this universe.

"Only what can oscillate and return to our world can be detected," said Broussard.

Furthermore, the team will adjust the magnetic field on the two sides of the wall which they can change the strength of. It is hoped that it can exert a certain force which assists the oscillation of the particles.

If they could detect a neutron on the far side of the wall, that could have profound implications.

The existence of parallel worlds might also explain the lack of the Lithium 7 isotope in our universe, which physicists think is incompatible with what the Big Bang created.

The detection of high-energy cosmic rays originating outside our galaxy can also be explained by the existence of a mirror world. They are too strong to travel only through the observable universe, but if they have been tossed into the mirror plane and then back again, then that could explain why that is.
